Our Principal
Broker’s Story
My journey began as a real estate agent in the bustling real estate market of Phoenix, AZ, where I gained experience and honed my skills. Seeking a better fit for my skill set, I transitioned into the mortgage industry in 2008 with Quicken Loans in Scottsdale, AZ. There, I originated over a thousand loans and was promoted to a leadership role with a team that originated 100+ loans per month.
My career took me to Chicago in 2011, where I joined Guaranteed Rate as a VP of Mortgage Lending and continued to expand my skills and experience. A few years later, I moved to The Federal Savings Bank and remained there serving clients for several years.
In 2019, a couple years after the birth of my first daughter, I decided it was time to start my own company. I wanted to focus more on helping families and providing personalized mortgage solutions. That’s why I opened Montezuma Mortgage as a mortgage broker. The broker model allows me to work more closely with people, and save my clients money, which is always important when buying a new home.
My passion is working with individuals to help them overcome their challenges, and starting this company has allowed me to do that in my own way.
